Monitored
smoke communicators provide for a wide variety of benefits over the
standard detectors. While increasing your home's value, the greater
advantage may be the peace of mind it brings to know you, your
family and your home are safe.
If a fire should happen, there's very little time to
escape before poisonous gases could disable occupants.
Like a smoke detector, a monitored smoke communicator will emit an
audible tone to help assure the occupants have time to escape. Then
the communicator notifies ADT that smoke has been detected in the
home. ADT notifies the fire department and then attempts to contact
the homeowner.
This means should a fire happen, you don't have to worry about
finding a phone and calling 911 while trying to get your family to
safety. Just get your family out.
Should you not be at home, the response time is the same, meaning
that the fire department is notified. A quicker notification means
that a quicker response time by the fire department increases the
chance your home and valuables won't sustain as much damage.
Hopefully nothing bad should ever happen to you or your home. But
beside saving lives and providing a peace of mind, a monitors smoke
communicator will also help save you money by lowering the cost of
your homeowner's insurance. |
